MSP/Cloud Verify Program Provides Quality Assurance, and Stamp of Reliability for Current, Potential Customers
Little Rock, AR, October 6, 2017 – Allied Technology Group, LLC today announced that it has successfully completed the MSPAlliance’s MSP/Cloud Verify Program (MSPCV) certification process, the oldest certification program for cloud computing and managed services providers. The MSPCV is based on the Unified Certification Standard (UCS) for Cloud and Managed Service Providers and developed by the International Association of Cloud and Managed Service Providers.
"The MSPCV certification is a rigorous process that benchmarks and verifies the quality of the company providing cloud and/or managed services,” said Celia Weaver, MSPAlliance president. "We are very proud to have Allied Technology Group as a member of this elite community of MSPs and cloud providers.”
The UCS consists of 10 control objectives and underlying controls that constitute crucial building blocks of a successful managed services (and cloud computing) practice. Once the provider’s organization has completed all MSPCV documentation on all applicable control objectives (with the assistance of MSPAlliance's readiness assessments, gap analysis, helpful templates and consulting) the results are then examined by an independent third-party accounting firm for verification and signing of a public facing report.
As with any other certification of this type, the MSPCV certification must be renewed annually. The MSPCV was the first certification created specifically for the managed services and cloud industry. The MSPCV has been reviewed by governmental agencies and regulatory bodies across the globe and is used and accepted in 5 continents around the world.
Customers who select a company that is part of the MSPCV can also rest assured that their IT solution provider has met and exceeded the following standards dealing with:
● Objective 1: MSP Organization, Governance, Planning and Risk Management,
● Objective 2: MSP Policies and Procedures,
● Objective 3: Confidentiality and Privacy,
● Objective 4: Service and Program Change Management,
● Objective 5: Event Management,
● Objective 6: Logical Security,
● Objective 7: Data Integrity and Availability,
● Objective 8: Physical and Environmental Security,
● Objective 9: Service Level Agreements, Reporting and Billing, and
● Objective 10: Corporate Health.
"Allied is constantly striving to innovate and change the perception of what businesses should expect from an IT services company. This certification represents another sign that we’re moving in the right direction”, said Brad Cicero, Partner, Allied Technology Group.
